Rebbetzin Batya Barg z”l, founder of Yam Hachesed, was a courageous Jewish educator who risked her life teaching Torah under Soviet rule. After moving to Israel, she dedicated herself to rescuing and uplifting at-risk girls in Jerusalem. Though she had no biological children, she became a beloved mother to hundreds—leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering faith.
